About Us
What is Wruksha ?
Wruksha in many Indian languages means a “tree” –
The one who showers, rain, light, pleasure etc.

It is absolutely true that “Wruksha” is the one which sustains life on earth literally – we not only get food from plants and trees but we also have rains, rivers and forests due to presence of wruksha . Moreover the world would be a happy place if each one of us are conscious and start emulating the qualities of a tree it can can help us stay grounded, keep us connected with our roots, learn to bend before we break, turn over a new leaf season after season and continue to keep growing.
Too much of the talk on the current environmental and social issues is unfortunately shrouded in a negative language. We at Wruksha World Foundation understand the need for a holistic and an optimistic approach to set right the imbalances in individuals, families, society, and environment. Right in our backyard our wise forefathers have given us simple keys that can help us open our locked minds to seek appropriate solutions. By addressing the physical, mental, spiritual wellbeing of an individual, we can create a healthy society and a healthy world. All our programmes and activities intend to achieve this by bringing people from various walks of life together to create a better tomorrow for every being on this planet.
